## Account Types Overview

XBIT uses a dual-account system to optimize trading efficiency and security across different asset types. Understanding your account structure is essential for effective fund management and trading operations.

### Account Structure

#### 1. Funding Account & Meme

**Primary account for most trading activities**

**What it includes:**

* MEME coin trading
* US Stocks (RWA) trading

**Supported assets:**

* All MEME coins and tokens
* Tokenized US stocks
* Major cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, SOL, etc.)
* Stablecoins (USDC, USDT)

**Key features:**

* Shared liquidity across MEME and spot trading
* Access to Smart Money signals and copy trading
* Direct deposits from Solana, Ethereum, and Arbitrum networks

#### 2. Futures Account

**Dedicated account for leveraged trading**

**What it includes:**

* Perpetual futures trading

**Key features:**

* Based on Hyperliquid infrastructure
* Independent risk management
* Optimized for high-frequency trading
* Lower fees (0.01% vs 0.95% for meme)

### Why Two Account Types?

#### Security & Risk Isolation

* **Separate risk profiles**: Spot trading risks don't affect leveraged positions
* **Independent collateral**: Contract account liquidations won't impact your spot holdings
* **Regulatory compliance**: Different treatment for derivatives vs spot trading

#### Optimized Trading Experience

* **Specialized interfaces**: Each account type has tailored trading tools
* **Performance optimization**: Contract account uses Hyperliquid's high-speed infrastructure
* **Fee structure**: Different fee models optimized for each trading style

### Account Limitations

**Fund & Meme Account:**

* No leveraged trading capabilities
* Cannot access perpetual futures
* Higher trading fees for frequent trading

**Contract Account:**

* Limited to futures/derivatives only
* No direct MEME or spot trading
* Requires separate fund transfers
